J. R. Liggett's Shampoo Bar | Vegan & Zero Waste Hair Care

After watching a TED talk by Lauren Singer about her zero waste lifestyle and doing more research I became so inspired and decided to start my journey to a zero waste lifestyle. I have no idea if I will ever become completley waste free, but I am going to give it my very best shot.

I am of course going to use up all of my current products, however I placed an Amazon order of some products to try out in order to reduce my waste and this post is dedicated to one of those. My first J. R. Liggett's Shampoo Bar, in Coconut and Argan Oil.

This shampoo bar is wrapped in 100% post consumer recycled paper, and is not wrapped in any plastic. Double win for the environment. The shampoo has no animal ingredients and is 100% bio-degradable. Each bar is said to be the equivalent of a 24 ounce bottle of shampoo.

I am currently in the process of using up my bottled shampoo but am very excited to try and review this product! I have enjoyed using Lush shampoo bars in the past and hope this one is just as great.

I'd love to hear your reviews on this shampoo bar and recommendations of vegan and zero waste shampoo!

Happy Wednesday,

Welcome to my Blog | 1st Post

Hey there, I'm Alice, I am a very passionate ethical vegan and in need of somewhere to spread my vegan positivity and excitement without annoying my Facebook friends too much! I have no set agenda for this blog however I am currently trying to reduce my waste so expect veganism/ zero waste posts.

A little bit about me; I grew up on a beef cattle farm and have been vegetarian since 12/2007 and vegan since 01/2014. I adore animals and believe going vegan was one of my absolute best moves. Other than that I currently study BSc Geography at university, partly where my zero waste aspirations stem from, and aspire to be a geography teacher. I'm sure I will create an "about me" page in the future.

I hope this blog will prove useful to anyone wanting to transition into veganism or just find out a little bit more about it.

I'm excited to see where this blog goes and I hope you stick around!

Much vegan love,

Alice
